Co-organized by CCCMHPIE and Sinoexpo Informa Markets, the Health Business Innovation Forum (HBIF)<\/strong> was successfully held in Europe in October 2024.<\/p>\n

The HBIF selected two European countries that are relatively mature in the field of health and nutrition, Italy<\/strong> and Germany<\/strong>, as the starting point for Chinese companies to enter the European health market. The tour included industry summits, factory visits, and cross-border collaborations, attracting international clients and fostering partnerships. During this trip, participating companies enjoyed exclusive customized business matchmaking opportunities. As the China Healthcare Delegation kicked off its exchange programme in Italy, the Biofarma Group welcomed the delegation and gave the members a tour of its factory. The Biofarma Group operates a new factory that has passed the World Health Organization GMP certification and provides a variety of bottled, sachet and stick products, as well as preservative-free infant formula and a variety of ready-to-use products.<\/p>\n

Many Italian business representatives, including Equilibra Srl, Esserre Pharma Srl, Farmaflor Srl, Lo.Li Pharma lnternational, Geofarma Srl, etc., participated in the summit. The President of the Italian Association and the Vice President of CCCMHPIE delivered speeches to announce the opening of the summit. During the summit, three Chinese representatives delivered keynote speeches. The business matchmaking between Chinese and Italian companies promoted in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the health and nutrition industry.<\/p>\n

The delegation attended the symposium organized by Montefarmaco, met with its executives and visited the factory. Montefarmaco is one of the earliest pharmaceutical companies in Italy to sell products in the OTC and dietary supplement categories. From traditional products to OTC medicines, SOPs, dietary supplements, medical devices and skin-friendly cosmetics, the company is characterized by its strong desire for innovation and constantly launches novel products on the market, thus helping pharmacists keep pace with the times and stay ahead of their competitors.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the trip, the delegation paid a visit to the well-known German pharmaceutical company Ferring GmbH for field study and discussion. Ferring GmbH is a research-driven specialized biopharmaceutical group dedicated to helping people build healthy families, with leading positions in the fields of reproductive medicine and maternal health care, as well as gastroenterology and urology specialities.<\/p>\n

The HBIF in Europe brought together the industry leaders from China and Europe, aiming to deepen the cooperation between the two sides in the field of health and nutrition, discussing industry trends and promoting policy research and talent development. The successful organizing of European HBIF not only provided a valuable communication platform for participants, but also laid a solid foundation for the cooperation between China’s and Europe’s health and nutrition industries.
